VERONA, N.Y. – Fueled by five birdies,
Hayden Rousselle enjoyed a round to remember to lead the Towson University men's golf team during the final round of the Turning Point Tiger Intercollegiate Monday afternoon.
Rousselle tied his career low by carding a two-under 70 for Towson as it concluded its opening tournament of the 2019-20 season.

- Rousselle was locked in as he was two under on the front nine and even par on the back nine.
- Rousselle enjoyed a consistent afternoon as 16 of his 18 holes were par or better.
- He birdied the first, fourth, eighth, 13th and 14th holes.
- This was Rousselle's second career under par round.
- He shot a 70 at last year's Towson Invitational tournament.
- Over his final 36 holes of this event, Rousselle shot even par.
- Rousselle's strong final round helped him finish tied for 27th overall.
- Jackson Courtney carded a six-over 78.
- Courtney birdied the 18th hole to conclude an even-par performance on the back nine.
- Spencer Alexander shot an eight-over 80 to finish 37th overall.
- Justin Griffith opened the back nine with six consecutive holes of par.
- The Tigers shot 311 as a team to finish with a tournament score of 934, which was good enough to finish ahead of Canisius and Niagara.
- Towson finished with 143 pars and 22 birdies during the course of the tournament.
- Alexander (eight) and Rousselle (seven) combined for 68.1 percent of Towson's birdies.
