PHILDELPHIA- Qualifying times in diving highlighted the day for the Towson University women's swimming and diving team as they competed against Drexel Saturday afternoon.
Christina Coleman qualified for NCAA diving zones after winning the 3-meter dive with a score of 274.20. Coleman was also victorious in the 1-meter dive with a score of 279.07.
The Tigers fell to the Dragons 165-135 inside the Drexel pool.
How it Happened
- The quartet of Maddi Mangum, Jacki Schoening, Madison Mince and Annemarie Schnoor finished in second place in the 200-yard medley relay (1:45.93).
- Karlee Carminati saw a second place finish in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:26.35), while teammate Meagan Clark took third (10:32.81).
- Ava Enriquez finished took second in the 200-yard freestyle (1:56.86). Kayla Reedy (1:57.14) and Katie Nunez (1:57.56) was third and fourth, respectively.
- Mangum came in third in the 100-yard backstroke (58.02), Elise Devlin finished in fourth (58.72).
- Schoening was second in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:04.77).
- It was a 1-2-3 finish in the 200-yard butterfly as Cowan was first (2:05.52), Sarah-Margaret Locke took second (2:06.74) and Andrea Ducar was third (2:10.07).
- Schnoor took a third place finish in the 50-yard freestyle (24.43). Mince finished in fourth (24.73).
- Schnoor won the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 53.01.
- Meghan Jones came in third place in the 200-yard backstroke (2:05.10)
- Schoening took third in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:23.55).
- Locke was victorious in the 500-yard freestyle winning with a time of 5:04.49. Parker Schulz (5:20.67) came in fourth while Reedy finished in fifth (5:22.10).
- It was a 1-2 punch in the 100-yard butterfly as Cowan came in first (57.17) and Ducar finished in second (58.56).
- Locke also touched the wall first in the 400-yard individual medley with a time of 4:31.39.
- The last event of the afternoon saw the Tigers finishing in second in the 400-yard freestyle relay. Reedy, Mangum, Enriquez and Schnoor took second with a time of 3:34.92.

The Tigers are back in Burdick Hall on Friday, Jan. 24 for senior day. Towson will compete against Delaware in a dual-meet, with diving beginning at 2:30 p.m. and swimming starting at 5:30 p.m.
