TOWSON, Md. – This week's Student-Athlete Spotlight features Towson University basketball player
Juwan Gray.
The redshirt junior has helped Coach
Pat Skerry's Tigers reel off six consecutive Colonial Athletic Association victories. The Dover, Delaware native, who transferred to Towson after two years at the University of San Diego, has contributed on both ends of the court. He scored a career-best 19 points in the season opener against George Washington, ranks second on the team in blocked shots and is one of four Tigers shooting over 82 percent from the free throw line.
Check out his story by the Towson Sports Network.
After victories at Elon and William & Mary last week, Gray and the Tigers return to SECU Arena to host UNC Wilmington on Thursday, Jan. 30 at 7 p.m. and the College of Charleston on Saturday, Feb. 1 at 2 p.m.
