TOWSON, Md. – This week's Student-Athlete Spotlight features Towson University basketball player Shavonne Smith. 
 
The sophomore is one of six players to appear in all 21 games so far this season and earned a spot on the Colonial Athletic Association Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll for the fall semester. Smith, who goes by the nickname "Scoop," hosted a version of "94 Feet with Jay Bilas" to introduce her teammates to the Towson Women's Basketball social media followers.

Towson plays host to UNC Wilmington (Friday) and the College of Charleston (Sunday) this week.  After winning six straight games in January, the defending CAA champions have dropped three straight.
