CHRISTANSBURG, Va. – Day three of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) championships finished with the Towson University men's team still in fourth place.
After three days, the Tigers have a total of 365.5 points behind William and Mary (606.5), UNCW (568) and Drexel (414). Delaware is in last with 210.
Towson saw three different Tigers earn spots on the podium.
How it Happened
- Nick McClure came in third in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 47.90 earning 16 points. Cody Stewart came in fifth (48.36, 14 points).
- After having a new freshman record, Michael Fazio came in fourth in the 200-yard freestyle (1:38.27, 15 points). Ryan Baldino saw a sixth place finish (1:39.34, 13 points).
- Ryan O'Leary finished in eighth in the 100-yard breaststroke (55.59).
- Owen Robinson earned his spot on the podium finishing in third in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 48.22.
- Will Canny captured silver in the 3-meter diving scoring 322.10.
- Robinson, O'Leary, McClure and Matt Essing saw a fourth place finish in the 400-yard medley relay with a time of 3:15.27 to finish out the evening.

The final day of the CAA championships concludes tomorrow at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center. Swimming preliminaries begin at 10 a.m. then diving preliminaries at 12:30 p.m. and finals begin at 6 p.m.
