CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. – The Towson University men's swimming and diving team finished in fourth place in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) championships Saturday evening.

After the four day event in the Christiansburg Aquatic Center, the Tigers ended up with 531.5 points. William and Mary won with 874.5 points and Delaware finished in last.

How it Happened

•  Brendan Farrar came in sixth in the 1650-yard freestyle (16:01.91).
• Owen Robinson won the bronze medal in the 200-yard backstroke (1:46.77).
• Matt Essing took the bronze in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 43.99.
• Ryan O'Leary came in ninth in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:02.96).
• Nick McClure captured silver in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:45.71.
• Michael Fazio, Cody Stewart, Ryan Baldino and Essing captured third in the 400-yard freestyle to end the night (2:57.59).
