TOWSON, Md. – 11 more players have joined the Towson University football team on National Signing Day for the 2020 campaign.
These 11 add to the pair of players that signed on Early Signing Day on Dec. 18
th.

Towson earned its second straight winning season in 2019, earning seven victories. The Tigers were ranked all season long and defeated four opponents that were either ranked or receiving votes at the time of the game.

Tobi Adedoyin – Linebacker – Freshman – 6-1, 225 – Paint Branch H.S. – Burtonsville, Md.
Adedoyin joins high school teammate
Jean Germain on the Tigers for 2020. A defensive leader for Paint Branch High, Adedoyin earned All-MPSSAA Second Team,
Washington Post All-Met Second Team and Montgomery County 4A First Team at linebacker as a senior, compiling 80 tackles, nine sacks and 15.5 tackles for loss. In 2019, he led the Panthers to 13 victories and a berth in the 4A state quarterfinals.
Dion Crews-Harris – Fullback – Freshman – 6-0, 240 – Dunbar H.S. – Baltimore, Md.
Crew-Harris will stay in Charm City for his collegiate career. Named one of the top players at Dunbar High by the
Baltimore Sun, he led the Poets with 934 rushing yards, 13 rushing touchdowns, 122 tackles and 14 sacks his senior year. He started for a Dunbar team that reached the Maryland 1A state title game twice, including a championship in 2017, also being a standout in track and wrestling.
Josh Cupitt – Kicker/Punter – Freshman – 6-0, 170 – Exeter Township H.S. – Reading, Pa.
Out of southeastern Pennsylvania comes Cupitt. Cupitt earned 2019 All-Berks Football Team and Section 1 All-League Second Team as a punter for Exeter Township High, helping the school to the 3A state tournament and nine victories. He averaged 37 yards a punt, including 11 touchbacks, and was 12-for-13 on extra points for the team last year.
JaVaughn Faunteroy – Outside Linebacker – 6-0, 200 – Bishop McNamara H.S. – Forestville, Md.
Faunteroy comes to Towson after a prolific career at Bishop McNamara High in nearby Prince George's County. As a team captain, Faunteroy lead his team to its best record since 2015. In his senior season he averaged 7.2 tackles per game, totaling 65, including 53 solo, adding a pair of fumble recoveries and a defensive touchdown. His senior season garnered him Second Team All-WCAC honors.
Sabias Folley – Running Back – Freshman – 5-11, 235 – Fork Union Military Academy – Charlottesville, Va.
Folley will be the second Fork Union player on Towson's roster in 2020 along with
Jirhe Love. Prior to his year at Fork Union, Folley earned a trip to the VHSCA All-Star Game from Charlottesville High, earning over 1,000 rushing yards in three different seasons and combining for over 3,500 rushing yards and 57 touchdowns on the ground in his career.
Brady McElhaney – Wide Receiver – Freshman – 6-0, 170 – Avalon H.S. – Gambrills, Md.
McElhaney makes the short trek from Anne Arundel County to Baltimore County to suit up for the Tigers. Playing at Arundel High then Avalon High, McElhaney was selected to compete in the annual Maryland Crab Bowl as a wide receiver for Team Washington in 2019. He scored a touchdown in the Class 4A East Region semifinal in 2017 with Arundel, helping the team to eight wins that year.
Nick Patrizi – Quarterback – Junior – 6-2, 185 – ASA College – Haddonfield, N.J.
Out of southern New Jersey comes Patrizi, who has spent the last two years as a quarterback at ASA College. Previous to ASA, Patrizi played at Haddonfield Memorial High, finishing with 10 touchdowns and almost 1,000 all-purpose yards his senior year, taking his team to the 2017 NJSIAA South Jersey Group 2 championship game.
Charles Peeples – Cornerback – Junior – 6-0, 180 – Reedley College – Mableton, Ga.
Out of the metro Atlanta area comes Peeples to Baltimore. In two years at Reedley College in California, Peeples accumulated 43 tackles, seven interceptions and a pair of forced fumbles in 18 games at defensive back, helping the Tigers earn 14 victories. He was a 2016 First Team All-2AAAAAAA Region player as a defensive back at Pebblebrook High.
Michael Robinson Jr. – Outside Linebacker – Redshirt Junior – 6-1, 220 – Ball State University – Kennesaw, Ga.
Robinson Jr. comes to Towson after spending his first three collegiate years at Ball State. At Ball State, Robinson Jr. appeared in 26 total games at linebacker and defensive back, producing 14 total tackles and a forced fumble. Before Ball State, Robinson Jr. was a two-star recruit out of Allatoona High, leading his team to the 2015 Georgia State Championship and the 2014 regional title. He racked up 283 tackles and 14 sacks in his high school career.
Robert Schwob – Tight End – Redshirt Junior – 6-7, 240 – University of Maryland – Annapolis, Md.
Schwob will trade red for black & gold after three years at the University of Maryland, being named Academic All-Big Ten in 2018. An in-state player out of Annapolis, he was a three-sport athlete at Broadneck, earning all-county honors in football. In 2016, he caught a key touchdown with 94 yards total to help Broadneck reach the 4A East Regional final.
Ubayd Steed – Safety – Freshman – 5-11, 180 – Neumann-Goretti H.S. – Philadelphia, Pa.
Steed will join fellow Philadelphian
Darian Bryant on the Tigers in 2020. Steed earned a place on the 2019 All-Catholic League First Team at defensive back, helping Neumann-Goretti to 11 victories and a place in the District 1/12 Class 3A state title game. Previous to his senior year, Steed led Northeast High to a trio of Public League 6A championships as a safety and running back.
Early Signing Day Recruits – Dec. 18th
Ty'shaun Granger – Wide Receiver – Freshman - 6-1, 195 – Maury H.S. – Norfolk, Va.
Granger earned 2019 All-Region 5A Second Team and First Team All-District as a senior, tallying 906 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns on 47 receptions, plus had a key interception in the state semifinal game. He led Maury High to be the No. 1 ranked team in Virginia and helped the school earn its first state title in 80 years. He will join the Towson program in the spring.
Daniel Raymond – Outside Linebacker – Freshman - 6-0, 200 – Friendly H.S. – Fort Washington, Md.
Raymond is the first Towson player from Friendly High in Fort Washington since
Alex Blake in 2012. A multi-sport athlete in football, basketball and track, Raymond was Friendly's leader in solo tackles, passing yards, rushing yards and punting yards in 2019, totaling 1,266 total offensive yards, plus he was one of the school's best sprinters.
