TOWSON, Md. – 12 Towson University gymnastics team members have been selected to the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) All-Academic Team, highlighting the squad's strong academic performance.
In order to qualify for the All-Academic team, a gymnast must maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher throughout the 2019 calendar year. Freshman are eligible with the fall 2019 semester grades only.

Tirzah Delph (Health Education & Promotion),
Jaz Kauffman (Anthropology),
Kyla Gamble (Biology),
Tess Zientek (Sports Management),
Olivia Lubarsky (Legal Studies),
Zoey Packard (Exercise Science),
Melissa Temkov (Forensic Chemistry) and
Ally Wesoly (Communication Studies) were chosen to the EAGL All-Scholastic Team.
This year's academic team is comprised of 90 gymnasts, three more than last year's total of 87.
