In 2019, the Towson University football team was a nationally ranked program all season long, including having a top-5 ranking for the first time since 2013. The Tigers earned their second consecutive winning season, including a win over then-No. 7 Maine, tallying seven victories. The team picked up 10 All-CAA selections plus had 37 players on the CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll.

5) Street Makes Highlight Reel Catches vs. UAlbany, Stony Brook
Darian Street's first year with Towson saw 33 receptions, including several memorable ones. His diving, one-foot-down catch in the back of the end zone against UAlbany made No. 2 on the top-10 of SportsCenter. Later against Stony Brook, Street bolted down the field and avoided a late tackle attempt down the sideline for a 68-yard touchdown catch early in the 4
th quarter.
4) Smith Earns 200 Receiving Yards in Victory over Delaware
Caleb Smith earned the first 200-yard receiving game for Towson since 2016, grabbing nine receptions for 200 yards in the 31-24 win vs. Delaware. The nine catches led to a touchdown and eight first downs, including two conversions on Towson's go-ahead touchdown drive in the fourth quarter as Smith accounted for 200 of the 294 Towson receiving yards.
3) O'Neill Breaks CAA Field Goals Record
With a 29-yard field goal late in the first quarter at Stony Brook on Nov. 9

Aidan O'Neill broke the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) all-time field goals record with his 60
th career conversion. He would add four more converted field goals to finish his collegiate career with 64 and holds Towson career field goal and extra point records.
2) Flacco Throws Five Touchdowns to Leatherbury in Single Game
Setting new school records and earning a "game ball" on ESPN's college football nightly recap,
Tom Flacco threw six first half touchdowns in the Homecoming victory over Bucknell, including five to
Shane Leatherbury, each Towson single season records. Towson also had two 100+-yard rushers,
Yeedee Thaenrat and
Adrian Feliz-Platt, for the first time since 2012.
1) No. 8 Towson Defeats No. 7/9 Maine 45-23 in First-Ever Top-10 Regular Season Showdown
Towson's first-ever regular season game with both teams in the top-10 was a statement victory as the Tigers used five rushing touchdowns and four interceptions to defeat reigning CAA champion Maine 45-23 in Orono for the team's first 3-0 start since 2013.
Yeedee Thaenrat ran for four touchdowns, the first Towson feat since 2016, while
S.J. Brown II earned CAA Defensive Player of the Week with nine tackles and a pick.

Tippett Intercepts Pass Along the Sideline to Seal Win at The Citadel
After Towson took the lead with 1:27 left,
Coby Tippett intercepted a pass on The Citadel's next offensive play, diving next to the sideline for the takeaway, securing Towson's 28-21 season-opening win.
