Men’s Lacrosse Returns to Practice for 2021 Season

TOWSON, Md. -- After nearly two months apart, the Towson University men's lacrosse team has returned to campus to begin preparations for the upcoming 2021 season.

Monday's first practice of the new year kicked off the 10th season at the helm for head coach Shawn Nadelen. The day opened with daily COVID-19 scans, temperature checks, and equipment distribution.

Practice formally opened with an 11 a.m. team meeting on the new lower practice fields, followed by dynamic warmups with Aaron Droege, head strength and conditioning coach at Towson, followed by stick work drills. The day finished with a weight room session in the Towson Center for the offensive players.

The reigning Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) champions will continue practice through the week between the lower practice fields and Johnny Unitas ® Stadium.

The 2021 schedule is currently being finalized and will be released on TowsonTigers.com when all contracts have been signed.
