PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Lauren Bolen scored a career-high 9.9 on vault, as the Towson University gymnastics team finished with a season-high score of 194.475 in a tri-meet with Pittsburgh and NC State on Sunday afternoon.
Inside of the Fitzgerald Field House, the Tigers earned running scores of 48.250 on vault, 48.725 on bars, 48.600 on beam and 48.900 on floor. The Tigers' also had two compete in the all-around portion.
NC State finished with a final score of 195.425 while host team Pitt finished with a score of 195.700.
Bolen highlighted the night winning vault and all-around for the Tigers. She earned a 39.050 in the all-around.
How it Happened
- Bolen's 9.9 tied her for a first-place finish on vault. Jenna Weitz scored a 9.775.
- Freshman Allison Zuhlke tied for first on bars with a score of 9.875. Tess Zientek finished with a season-high 9.825.
- Weitz earned a season-high 9.850 to finish second on beam, while Emerson Hurst scored a season-high 9.825.
- Weitz also had a season-high floor routine scoring a 9.875 and finishing in second place. Amy Stewart and Nikki Borkowski tied for third scoring a 9.825.
- Camille Vitoff came in third in the all-around scoring a 38.100.

Towson will travel to Raleigh, North Carolina for a quad-meet hosted by NC State. The Tigers will compete against UNC and Pitt on Saturday, February 6 inside Reynolds Coliseum.
