Women's Basketball Suite Named in Recognition of CSM (Ret) Thomas B. Beyard

TOWSON, Md. — Towson Athletics and the Tiger Athletic Fund unveiled the women's basketball team suite, named in recognition for the contributions received by CSM (Ret) Thomas B. Beyard, Maryland National Guard, Towson Class of 1977 on Saturday, Oct. 16. Beyard has been a loyal supporter of Towson University and its student-athletes since 2015.

"The impact Tom has had on our program is second to none," said Towson Women's Basketball head coach Diane Richardson. "Our team not only recognizes him as a fan, but also as an investor in their success here at Towson and beyond."

The unveiling took place on the first floor of the Towson Center. An intimate group of approximately 25 people attended the ceremony and champagne toast to commemorated the recognition.

Towson Athletic Director Tim Leonard and retired adjutant general of the Maryland National Guard Linda Singh, Ph.D. attended the unveiling and gave their respective remarks. Junior guard Aleah Nelson, junior transfer Ryann Evans and sophomore forward Allie Kubek also attended the event.
