TOWSON, Md. – Towson women's basketball head coach Diane Richardson announced two signees on National Signing Day, Wednesday, Nov. 10. Gabby Scott and India Johnston will be officially joining the squad as the first members of the class of 2026.
"Both Gabby and India will add to the excitement of this team," said Richardson.
Gabby Scott
Hometown: Ellicott City, Maryland
High School: Howard
Height: 6-0
Position: Guard
Accolades: Third team All-State and second team All-County selections as both a freshman and sophomore. Averaged 15 points, nine rebounds and three blocks per game during junior season.
"Gabby is a versatile wing, knockdown 3-point shooter, extremely athletic and a fierce competitor," Richardson added. "She will be a matchup problem for a lot of teams."
India Johnston

Hometown: Smyrna, Del.
High School: Caravel Academy
Height: 5-8
Position: Guard
Accolades: Delaware Player of the Year and Delaware Gatorade Player of the Year 2020-2021. Named to the All-State first team following both her sophomore and junior seasons. Averaged 20 points, four rebounds and four assists per contest as a third-year student.
"India is the reigning Delaware State Gatorade Player of the Year, our second from the state," said Richardson. "She has a high IQ and is an electric combo guard who can get a bucket from anywhere on the floor."
