LAS VEGAS – For his strong performance in Nevada, Nicolas Timberlake was selected to the Las Vegas Invitational All-Tournament Team, announced earlier this week.
 
Timberlake combined for 39 points in the two games to average 19.5 points per contest.  He earned 25 points in Towson's victory over New Mexico on Friday, a follow-up to his 14-point performance against San Francisco.  The Braintree, Massachusetts native also added seven combined rebounds.
 
Through seven games this year, Timberlake is shooting 40% from three-point range, averaging 13 points and 3.9 rebounds a contest.
 
Yesterday, Cam Holden was selected as the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Player of the Week after averaging 16 points and 12.7 rebounds per game in three contests, including last Tuesday's victory over Penn.
