STEUBENVILLE, Ohio – With less than three weeks until the 2022 season, the Towson University women's gymnastics program was picked second in a poll of the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) head coaches.

The Tigers, who reached the NCAA Regional meet last spring, picked up 44 points, landing second behind NC State, which was first with 58 points along with two first-place votes. Reigning champion Temple and North Carolina tied for third place with 43 points. Temple had two first place votes while the Tar Heels had one first-place nod.

George Washington (35), New Hampshire (30) and Pittsburgh ranked fifth, sixth and seventh, respectively, each picking up one first place vote. LIU was picked eighth with eight points.
