RALEIGH, N.C.- New career-highs highlighted the night for the Towson University gymnastics team as they tied their season high score of 194.475 in a quad meet hosted by NC State Saturday afternoon. The Tigers also posted its highest bar and beam scores inside of Reynolds Coliseum.
Host team NC State finished the night with a score of 196.025, while UNC scored a 195.600 and Pitt finished with a score of 192.125.
The Tigers saw running scores of 48.650 on vault, 48.750 on bars, 49.125 on beam and 47.950 on floor.
How it Happened
- Camille Vitoff tied for third place on vault scoring a 9.8. Jenna Weitz scored a 9.775.
- Vitoff tied her career-high on bars scoring a 9.825, while teammate Grace Vaillancourt also scored a season-high 9.825. Allison Zuhlke finished with a score of 9.8.
- Lauren Bolen tied for third place on beam with a new career-high score of 9.850. Vaillancourt also scored a new career-high score of 9.850. Emerson Hurst tied her teammates with a season-high score of 9.850 also.
- Nikki Borkowski tied her career-high score of 9.850 on floor and Amy Stewart tied her season-high score of 9.825.
- Bolen finished second in the all-around after having scores of 9.750 on vault, 9.525 on bars, 9.850 on beam and 9.725 on floor totaling for a final score of 38.850.

"This team is learning how to put all of it out there and not hold back," said Ramirez. "Starting off a meet with falls is always tough, but they rallied to get the highest team bar score of the season and the third highest team beam score in school history. Proud of these athletes.
