LEXINGTON, Va. – The upperclassman for the Towson University indoor track and field team highlighted the afternoon as the Tigers competed at the Brant Tolsma Invitational Saturday afternoon. The Tigers saw numerous top five performances inside of the Liberty Indoor Track Complex.

How it Happened

• Junior Crystal Johnson won the 60m dash with a time of 7.50.
• Freshman Sydney Tucker had a top ten finish in the 200m dash, running a time of 25.48.
• Holly Edsall won the 500m run with a time of 1:19.33, while teammate Deandra Francois came in third (1:20.05).
• Hayley Horvath finished in third in the pole vault scoring 4.06m (13'3.75").
• Georgia Coleman came in second in the weight throw, 17.89m (58'8.25"). Freshman, Fatimah Owens had a throw of 14.21m (46'7.50") and Samira Van Der Lann threw 13.56m (44'5.75").
• Ani Boghossian-James tied for fourth in the high jump (1.60m, 5'3").

Up Next
The Tigers are back in action next weekend February 12-13 for two separate meets. Some of the Tigers will come back to Lexington for the VMI Indoor Classic, while other Tigers will travel to Lynchburg, Virginia for the Darius Dixon Memorial.
