TOWSON, Md. – One day after losing this week's scheduled game against High Point due to COVID-19 issues within the High Point program, the No. 15 Towson women's lacrosse team will now host George Mason on Sunday, April 4.
The Patriots became available when its scheduled game against Richmond on Sunday was postponed because of COVID-19 issues within the Richmond program.
The game will be played at Tiger Field at 5 p.m. Towson's women soccer team hosts Delaware earlier that afternoon.
This will be the second match-up between the teams this season at Tiger Field. On Feb. 28, Towson scored five goals in the first five minutes in a 18-4 win.
Nikki Sliwak led a balanced attack with a career-high six points (2 g, 4a).
Molly Lynch scored a career-best three goals and added an assist
. Lindsey Marshall had a hat trick and controlled five draws.
Blair Pearre (2g, 1a),
Kaitlin Thornton (2g, 1a) and
Shelby Stack (1g, 1a) also had multiple point games.
