PHILDELPHIA- It came down to the wire for the Towson University gymnastics team Friday night in a tri-meet with Temple and George Washington.
The Tigers finished in second place with a final score of 195.550 after having running scores of 48.900 (vault), 49.150 (bars), 48.800 (beam) and 48.700 on floor.
George Washington came in first with a score of 195.700 and Temple finished the meet with a 194.175 inside of Pearson & McGonigle.
How it Happened
- The Tigers opened the night on beam with Emerson Hurst and Allison Zuhlke both scoring a 9.850 to tie for second place. Jenna Weitz scored a 9.8.
- Next rotation for Towson was floor and Amy Stewart led the way finishing with a 9.850. Weitz scored a 9.825
- The third rotation was vault and Towson saw Camille Vitoff finish in second scoring a 9.875. Lauren Bolen scored a 9.8.
- Last rotation for the Tigers was bars and Stewart and Zuhlke tied for first place scoring a 9.875.
- Bolen finished in second in the all-around with a score of 38.900.

The Tigers will stay on the road and compete in a dual meet on Sunday, March 7 against George Washington in Washington, D.C. The meet will take place at 1 p.m. inside Charles E. Smith Center
