Towson, Md.- Towson University Tigers tennis team picked up three singles wins against Delaware State to start the Fall Tiger Classic. The Tigers will continue the Fall Tiger Classic tomorrow with an 8:30 a.m. match against Hampton and a 12:30 p.m. match against Morgan State.
"Despite being a little banged up and not playing our best tennis, we came out with three singles wins over a very hungry and competitive Delaware State team", said Head Coach
Jamie Peterson. "We look forward to coming back tomorrow and competing hard."

Singles
Sarah Pospischill defeated Daria Jula of Delaware State in straight sets 6-1, 6-4.
Jessica Assenmacher battled against Klaudija Lisovska, with Assenmacher taking the first set 7-6 (3), but dropped the following set 2-6. In the final set, Assenmacher won 10-7 to take the match.
Olivia Rothfeld came away victorious against Lucia Corte 6-1, 7-6 (2).
Doubles

Erin Gray were defeated by the duo of Kit Yi Kaye Au-Yeung/Eva Golembiovski 3-6, 2-6.

Nadeen Shrebati dropped their match to Noelani Lui/Baluck Deang 2-6, 3-6.
