Towson, Md.- Towson University Tigers tennis team picks up seven wins today to wrap up the Fall Tiger Classic and the fall season.
Jessica Assenmacher picked up two singles wins in straight sets this afternoon in her final matches as a Tiger.
"Today we battled better competitively and collectively than we had all weekend," said Head Coach
Jamie Peterson. "Although we didn't play our best tennis, we played well under pressure winning all three matches that went to super tiebreakers and seven out of eight matches to finish the weekend. We also get to send senior co-captain
Jessica Assenmacher with a great final day competing as a Tiger."

Singles vs Saint Joseph's
Sarah Pospischill came away victorious against Charlotte Kordonowy after winning the first set 7-6, dropping the second set 0-6 and winning the deciding set 10-7.
Jessica Assenmacher defeated Anna Kirk in straight sets 6-2, 6-4.
Sissi Axelsson was defeated by Fabiana Tort-Umpierre 3-6, 0-6.

Olivia Rothfeld won their match against Ana Ocasio/Kristen Wijnsema in three sets, 6-3, 4-6, 10-7.

Assenmacher was victorious against Shirley Liang 6-2, 6-2.
Doubles vs Mount St. Mary's
Lawson/Â Axelsson battled against Amber Policare/Victoria Papadopoulou and won in three sets after dropping the first set 3-6, then winning the second set 7-6 and taking the final set 10-7.
