NEWARK, Del. – After a busy fall slate consisting of four meets the Towson University cross country team will begin to wrap up the season with the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Championships on Friday, Oct. 28. The meet will take place at the University of Delaware for the third time in championship history.

The Field: The Tigers will be joined by Charleston, Delaware, Elon, Hampton, Hofstra, Monomouth, NCAT, UNCW, Northeastern, Stony Brook and William & Mary.

Last Meet Recap
The Black & Gold are coming off of a victory at the Delaware Invite last Saturday. With an average time of 24:47.78 the team placed first, edging out Delaware by one point. Graduate student
Beighley Ayers was the top finisher after clocking a 24:07.11. Sophomore
Aubrey Schaffer was right behind her, finishing second after running a 24:23.65.
Next Up
The Tigers will conclude the season with NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals on Nov. 11. The meet will take place in State College, Pennsylvania.
