Former Tiger Lumor Drafted into the 2023 XFL

TOWSON, Md. – Former Towson University Tiger Elorm Lumor will get his chance in the professional ranks, being drafted into the newly reformed XFL for the upcoming 2023 season.
 
Lumor has selected by the St. Louis Battlehawks for the restart of the XFL coming up in the 2023 season.
 
Lumor played in eight games for Towson in 2021 after transferring in from Rutgers.  In his collegiate career, he played 50 games, finishing with 116 tackles and 11 sacks.
 
The XFL is resuming operations after playing a season in 2020.  Two former Tigers, Darius Victor and Randall Harris, each competed in that year.
 
Victor was the 2022 USFL Offensive Player of the Year while other Tigers are making their mark in the CFL, including Tibo Debaillie, Andrew Garnett and Malik Tyne.  Tye Smith was in preseason camp with the NFL's Minnesota Vikings after five seasons in the league.
