SPOKANE, Wash. — Crystal Johnson of the Towson University women's track and field team placed seventh in the 60 meter dash at the USA Indoor Track & Field Championships on Sunday afternoon.   

After finishing fourth in the prelims with a time of 7.47, Johnson went onto earn a seventh place finish int he finals, clocking the same time. Johnson was the only athlete to represent a university of the 10 who ran in the finals. The others represented wither private clubs, brands or ran unattached. 

Johnson placed 11th at the meet previously in 2020, with a time of 7.49. 

Looking Ahead  

The whole Tiger squad will be back in action from March 4-6 at the ECAC Indoor Championships. The four-day meet will take place in Boston, Mass.
