TOWSON, Md. – Towson University shortstop
Danny Becerra has been selected to the 2022 Perfect Game Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) All-Conference Team, announced by the publication this week.
The news was announced in Perfect Game USA's preview of the CAA this season. Perfect Game USA said about Becerra: "Twitchy INF that has made strides at the plate, will look to improve upon '21 season. 2B's machine w/ feel for the barrel & some juice."
Becerra was Towson's starting shortstop in 2021, being the only player to start all 57 games for the Tigers. He hit .258 with 12 doubles and 24 RBI plus stole 11 bases. He earned 19 multi-hit contests, including combining to go 4-for-7 in the CAA Tournament.
