RALEIGH, N.C. – The Towson outdoor track and field team completed the first day of NC State's Raleigh Relays Thursday night.
Hayley Horvath highlighted the Tigers' performance with a third place finish in the Women's Pole Vault Invitational with a mark of 4.15 meters.
How it Happened
- Horvath started off strong with a season best height of 4.15 meters to place third in the Pole Vault Invitational.
- Kayla Thorpe came in 16th in the javelin with a mark of 41.74 meters. She followed up with a throw of 12.57 meters to place 34th in the shot put. Kira Parsons also finished 35th in the javelin with a toss of 30.97 meters.
- With a time of 36:09.49, Ainsley Jacobs took 74th in the three-section field of the 10000 meter race.

Towson will continue competition at Raleigh Relays over the next two days, March 25-26.
