Weitz Concludes 2022 Season at NCAA Regionals

RALEIGH, N.C. – Competing as an individual and representing the Towson University women's gymnastics team, junior Jenna Weitz officially wrapped up the 2022 season for the Tigers Thursday night at Reynolds Coliseum.

Weitz competed on beam in the second session of the day for the 2022 NCAA Gymnastics Regional meet, hosted by N.C. State.

How it Happened
  • Weitz rotated in with No. 14 UCLA, hitting the beam in the third rotation with the Bruins.
  • The seventh person to compete in the rotation, Weitz scored a 9.725, finishing 19th overall in Session II.
  • Combined with scores from Session I, Weitz finished tied for 40th in the standings.
  • From Session I, Missouri's Sienna Schreiber won the beam competition, scoring a 9.975. Iowa's Adeline Kenlin, Missouri's Helen Hu and Michigan's Sierra Brooks all tied for second on beam with a 9.950.
