LEWISBURG, PA. – Ani Boghossian-James represented the Towson outdoor track and field team in the first day of Bucknell's Bison Outdoor Classic.
The senior ended the first day of the meet in third place in the heptathlon, completing four events. She placed top 10 in three of the four events.
How it Happened
- To start the day, Boghossian-James placed second in the 100 meter dash with a time of 15.37.
- She followed up with a third place finish in the high jump, securing a mark of 1.58 meters.
- With a toss of 8.82 meters in the shot put, the Monrovia, Maryland product finished in 13th place.
- To end the day, Boghossian-James finished seventh in the 200 meter dash, clocking 27.12.
Next Up
Boghossian-James will finish up the heptathlon tomorrow, April 15, competing in the long jump, javelin and 800 meters. Regular field events will get started at 1 p.m. on Friday with the men's long jump. The women will follow shortly after. Action on the track will begin with the women's unseeded 1500 meters at 1:45 p.m.
