LEWISBURG, PA. – The Towson outdoor track and field team completed the second day of action at Bucknell's Bison Outdoor Classic.
How it Happened
- Ani Boghossian-James finished up the three remaining events of the heptathlon, ending in seventh place. She placed 10th in the long jump with a mark of 4.95 meters. She ended in seventh place again in the javelin with a toss of 27.18 meters. Finally in the 800 meters, Boghossian-James placed 11th with a time of 2:38.02.
- Nicole Bezborodko took 18th in the unseeded section of the 5000 meters with a time of 18:56.88.
- Fatimah Owens earned silver in the discus with a throw of 47.54 meters.
- In the long jump, Denée Hibert came in 11th with a jump of 5.51 meters.
Next Up
The team will finish out the Bison Outdoor Classic on Saturday, April 16 with sprinting, jumping and throwing events.
