CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Towson outdoor track and field team completed action at UVA's Virginia Challenge on Friday evening.
The Tigers ended the opening day of the very compettitive meet with three top 10 finishes.
How it Happened
- Crystal Johnson took seventh place in the 100 meter dash with a final time of 11.63.
- Kayla Thorpe placed 10th in the javelin throw with a toss of 43.93 meters.
- Fatimah Owens continued to find success as she placed third in the discus with a mark of 48.10 meters.
- With a toss of 54.74 meters, Georgia Coleman placed 14th in the hammer throw.
- Ainsley Jacobs ended the 10,000 meters Invite in 22nd, clocking 35:31.00.
