ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Towson University women's cross country team will be competing in their second meet of the season, heading down the road to Annapolis, Maryland to compete in the Navy Invitational. The meet will be hosted by Navy on Friday, Sept. 16 beginning at 6:00 p.m.

The Black and Gold are coming off of a third-place finish at the Delaware Opener 5k, where graduate transfer
Beighley Ayers was the top finisher for the Tigers after clocking a 19:06.30 to place eighth.

Morgan Loewe scored for the team as well. Towson finished with a total of 73 points and an average time of 20:35.
Next Up
Next week the Tigers will be attending the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh on Sept. 30. Following this event the team will head back to Delaware to compete in the Delaware Invite on Oct. 15. CAA Championships will also be held in Delaware on Oct. 28.
