Nina Cajic was selected as the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season, announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
The junior from Subotica, Serbia earned the honor by totaling 32 kills and having a .698 hit percentage with only two errors in two sweeps against Stony Brook. In Saturday's match, she had 14 kills on a .737 hit percentage, then followed with a season-high 18 kills, including the last four points in Sunday's win against Stony Brook. Cajic has totaled double digit kills in eight matches this season, including the last three matches. This is the second time this year she was won this honor with the previous time being on Sept. 5 when she had 43 kills and 10 blocks over four matches.
Towson hosts North Carolina A&T in SECU Arena on Oct.1-2 at 1 p.m.
