Lewisburg, Pa. – The Towson University track and field team is set to continue it's indoor season slate, traveling to Bucknell University for the Gulden Invitational on Jan. 21.

Facility: Gerhard Fieldhouse - Lewisburg, PA
Field: The Tigers will be competing against Bloomsburg, Bucknell, East Stroudsburg, Francis, Mount St. Marys, Robert Morris and Shippensburg.
Race Times: Women's long jump begins at 11 a.m. and women's trial 60 meter hurdles will begin at 12 p.m.

Last Meet Recap
At her collegiate debut last weekend freshman Emmanuel Mevo made quite an impact on the team's performance, winning the triple jump with a score of 11.85 which qualifies for third all-time in program history. Mevo also placed second in the long jump (5.43 meters).
Towson swept the weight throw as captain
Fatimah Owens captured first after scoring 17.28 meters.
Georgia Coleman secured the second-place spot after throwing 16.66 meters.
Beighley Ayers placed seventh in the 3000 meters after clocking a 10:11.46, good enough for sixth all-time in program history.

Cristal Cuervo secured a third-place finish after running a 24.62 in the 200 meter dash, only .30 off of her personal record.
Up Next
Next weekend the team will head up to Pennsylvania to participate in the Penn State National. The two-day meet is set to take place Jan 27-28.
