TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's lacrosse team has announced the team captains with the season right around the corner.
Senior midfielder
Blair Pearre and senior attacker
Gabby Garrett were named captains for the 2023 season.
This is the time first time that Pearre and Garrett have been named captains.
"As we continue to drive a specific culture within our program, effective player leadership on and off the field is at its heart," said Head Coach
Sonia LaMonica. "With the help of our leadership council, I'm excited for Blair and Gabby to lead that charge as our captains this season. They have both demonstrated qualities that I believe will help drive us forward. I am also excited about the growing leadership qualities emerging across our entire team, and where that will take us this season and in years to come."
