TOWSON, Md. – Towson University outside hitter
Nina Cajic was named as the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Offensive Player of the Week, announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
This is Cajic's first conference honor this season, while it is Towson's third offensive award this year.
The senior outside hitter finished with 31 kills on .547 hitting percentage as the Tigers went 2-0 against UNCW. In Saturday's match, Cajic earned her fourth double-double of the season with 18 kills and 13 digs while finishing with a .600 hitting percentage and no errors. She followed up with a 13-kill performance adding a .479 hitting percentage with two service aces.
The Tigers will host Stony Brook for a pair of matches this weekend at TU Arena at 6 p.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday. Both matches will be streamed on FloVolleyball.
