Towson took a short break after Friday night's dual meet with LIU and are now set to compete again in the Pratt Recreation Center, this time being joined by Brown and Bridgeport.
New York Business Trip
This will be the second and final stop of the Tigers New York tour, as they finished up the dual meet with the Sharks in a draw.
Both teams received 195.925s at the conclusion of the meet. Towson posted above 49.000 on bars (49.025) and floor (49.275). The vault score was the ninth highest in program history, led by
Amy Stewart,
Grace Vaillancourt and
Paige Casper tying for first place with 9.875s.
Polina Belanovski and
Jenna Weitz picked up first place finishes as well, on vault and beam respectively.
The final team score for LIU was a new program led by Mara Titarsolej's first place performance of 9.900 on bars.
Scouting the Sharks
This event will mark LIU's seventh meet of the season. The Sharks highest team score this year (195.925) was reached at their most recent meet, the Friday night dual with Towson.
LIU remains ranked 49th via RoadToNationals.com and sixth in EAGL. The Sharks have one EAGL weekly award under their belt, earned by Mara Titarsolej who was named Specialist of the Week on January 25th. Titarsolej currently leads EAGL in uneven bars as she is ranked first with a high of 9.950. The junior has posted 9.950 on the event for the past three meets in a row. Prior to that she received scores above 9.900. Ilka Juk is ranked third in EAGL on beam with a high of 9.925. Katy Koopman (9.850) currently has the highest vault score on the team while Lauren Miller, Ella Barrington and Katy Koopman (9.875) have the highest floor scores.

Scouting the Brown Bears
Brown's highest score this season so far is a 194.775, achieved at a dual meet with Southern Connecticut State on Feb 5. Going into their tenth meet of the season, the Bears have two scores above 194 under their belt.
Currently Brown is ranked 57
th via RoadToNationals.com. The team's best event so far this season is beam, where they posted a season high 48.925 on Feb 5. Julia Bedell is the team's top scorer for vault (9.850) and floor (9.925). Asta-Sollija Farrell leads the way for bars with 9.850 while Angela Xing leads on beam with a 9.825.
It has been a while since Towson last saw Brown. On February 7, 2016 the Tigers competed in a quad meet with Brown, New Hampshire and Bridgeport, finishing with a season high 194.575. Host team New Hampshire won the meet with a 195.550 while Bridgeport (194.525) and Brown (192.150) placed third and fourth respectively.

Scouting the Purple Knights
Bridgeport is coming off of a dual meet with William & Mary where they fell to the Tribe after posting a 189.700. The teams highest score this season is 191.325, received at a tri-meet with Southern Connecticut and Yale.
Via RoadToNationals.com the Knights are ranked 69
th. Similar to Brown, beam proves to be Bridgeport's strongest event. Currently the season high is 48.775. As for the top scorers in each event: Joanna Chambers leads on vault with a 9.800, Lola Sepulveda (9.800) on bars, Nicole Javinett (9.825) on beam and Abigail Kenny (9.675) on floor.
Towson and Bridgeport last competed against each other on March 8, 2019 at a quad meet. The Tigers finished third at the meet hosted by Rutgers with a 192.800 while Bridgeport took second place after receiving a 194.125.
