TOWSON, Md. – Towson softball freshman Addie Ferguson was named CAA Rookie of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday afternoon. Ferguson helped lead the Tigers to a win at Charleston Southern on Saturday.
 
The Valencia, Calif. native propelled the Tiger offense in a 12-1 win against the Buccaneers on Saturday, going 2-3 with five RBIs. Both of her hits came via home runs including a two-run and three-run home run in the win.
 
The Tigers will make their 2023 home debut this weekend at the TU DeMarini Invite. The Tigers will welcome Bucknell, Bryant and Coppin State to Tiger Softball Stadium taking on Bucknell and Bryant on Friday, March 3 at 12:30 and 3 p.m.
