Boston, MA – The Towson University track and field team has officially wrapped up the indoor season with the Eastern College Athletic Conference Championships where athletes earned multiple personal records and podium finishes.
 
How it Happened – Track

• Sydney Tucker ran a 7.68 in the 60-meter dash finals, placing seventh overall.
• Cristal Cuervo placed fifth in the 400-meter finals with a time of 55.03. She shaved 0.83 off of her prelims time.
• Maya Tucker clocked a 24.43 in the finals of the 200-meter dash.

 
How it Happened – Field

• Manie Mevo earned a new PR in the triple jump, placing fifth with a mark of 12.13 meters which moves her up to second all-time in program history. The freshman collected four points for the team.
• Aliyah Anderson earned a mark of 11.63 meters in the same event.
• Fatimah Owens picked up another third-place finish, collecting a bronze medal after throwing 14.06 meters in the shot put. Owens was only .06 meters off of her personal record in the event.
