Philadelphia, PA – The Towson University track and field team had a successful Friday night in Philly as Tigers posted six top-three finishes across five different events.
 
How it Happened – Track

• The 4x100 opened up the meet with their third consecutive win of the season. The relay made up of Ty'Liyah Hannah, Cristal Cuervo, Sydney Tucker and Maya Tucker placed first after clocking a 45.91. 
• The 1500 meter squad put up PRs all around as four Tigers ran best times. Beighley Ayers was the top finisher, placing second with a PR of 4:43.04. Lexi Mogensen (4:53.30 – PR), Aubrey Schaffer (4:56.01 – PR), Morgan Loewe (5:01.07) and Sophie Skinner (5:10.34 – PR) competed in the event as well.
• Leeann Redlo placed second in the 100 meter hurdles. 
• Satori Valentine, Aubrey Schaffer, Morgan Loewe and Lauren McNeil ran the 800 meter.
• Maya Tucker (24.51) and Cristal Cuervo (24.58) placed first and second respectively in the 200m dash. Both times rank in Towson's top-10 all time list. 

 
How it Happened – Field

• Leeann Redlo won the high jump with a mark of 1.67 meters followed by Aliyah Anderson who took fourth in 1.62 meters. Freshman Sara Veres made her collegiate outdoor debut, competing in the event as well.
• Marisa D'Angelo finished fifth in the pole vault with a mark of 3.51 meters, places her at fifth all-time in program history.
• Manie Mevo, Skylar Galiano-Holmes and Kiara Murray competed in the long jump.
• Fatimah Owens saw fourth place in the shot put after a toss of 13.81 meters. Not too far behind was Georgia Coleman who finished sixth with a mark 13.51, a season best for the grad student. Kira Parsons participated as well, earning a new PR.

The Tigers have two meets coming up next on the schedule. Athlete will either compete at the Bison Outdoor Classic hosted by Bucknell on April 15 and 16, or the NSU Invitational hosted by Norfolk State University on April 15.
