TOWSON, Md. – Towson University softball announced the signing of transfer Alyssa Bostley for the upcoming season. Bostley comes to Towson after spending two years at Creighton University.
Bostley redshirted her freshman season with the Blue Jays in 2022 and appeared in eight games with two starts this past season. Bostley threw 17.2 innings with eight strikeouts.
Prior to Creighton, Bostley had a stellar prep career at Verona Area High School in Wisconsin. She helped the Wildcats to three conference and regional championships in 2018, 2019 and 2021. She earned First Team All-Conference and All-District honors in 2019 while also being named First Team All-State Honorable Mention in 2019. During her senior season in 2021, she hurled 95 innings with 104 strikeouts and a 2.28 ERA.
The Tigers are coming off a historic season that saw the team win 30 games and having a winning record for the first time since 2018. Towson reached the championship round of the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament as a five seed, working its way through the winner's bracket.
