TOWSON, Md. – Towson women's soccer forward Jasmine Hamid was named Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday. This is the second time this season Hamid has earned the award and is the second straight Tiger to earn the award in successive weeks.

Hamid helped lead a Tiger attack with two goals and one assist in a 5-3 win against Drexel on Sunday afternoon. Hamid had a pair of second half goals, assisting on another in the win. The senior leads the Tigers and the league with nine goals and is tied for the team lead with 20 points. Hamid is the CAA leader in shots and is second in shots on goal.

The Tigers will look to extend their winning streak to five games when Towson hosts Stony Brook on Thursday, Sept. 28. Kick-off against the Seawolves is slated for 6 p.m. at Tiger Field and will air on FloFC.
