Jasmine Hamid was named Costal Athletic Association (CAA) Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday. Hamid had a four-goal game to help lead the Tigers past UMBC this past week.
Hamid netted four goals in the Tigers 8-1 win against UMBC last Thursday. The Virginia native scored three of her four goals in the first half, including two in a 27 second span. Her performance moved Hamid into the top ten in career points and just outside the top ten in career goals. Hamid leads the Tigers with six goals and 12 points.
Towson will return home to open CAA play against Delaware on Thursday, Sept. 7. Kick-off with the Blue Hens is set for 7 p.m. at Tiger Field and will air on FloFC.
