FARMINGTON, Pa. – The Towson University Golf Team completed the first round of the Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational hosted by West Virginia at the Mystic Rock Golf Course.
The teams also began round two, but the round was postponed to Tuesday due to darkness. Athletes who have not finished round two will resume at 8:30 a.m., those who did will begin round three at 8:30 a.m.
The Tigers currently sit in 11
th place at 44-over par through most of the first two rounds. Towson is lead on the individual leaderboard by
Sky Aung and
Joshua Galindo who are tied for 39
th 9-over par.
Aung posted the Tigers best round one score when he shot three over par in opening eighteen holes. Galindo is two-over par through seventeen holes in round two, which he will complete tomorrow.
Michael Matheson, who currently sits in 56
th, notched a 4-over par first round. He is currently 13-over par and will also be starting day two with his 18
th hole of round two.
Individual competitor
Matthew Gonnello is in 52
nd after having his final two holes of round two postponed, he made six birdies during today's rounds.
Poon Nantsupawat(67
th) and Arrihau Faana(63
rd) were the two Tigers who were able to complete the second round. Faana made three birdies in a four-hole stretch in round two.
