EDISTO BEACH, S.C. – The Towson University women's golf team will compete in the final tournament of the 2024 fall season early this upcoming week, attending the Edisto Island Invitational hosted by the College of Charleston on Monday and Tuesday October 14 and 15.
Five Tigers will represent the Black & Gold on the Par 70, 5824-yard Plantation Course at Edisto for 36 holes on the first day and 18 on the second. Players tee off at 9:00 a.m. on Monday and at 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday.

In addition to host team and Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) foe College of Charleston, the Tigers are set to compete against athletes from The Citadel, University of North Carolina Asheville, Northern Arizona University, Appalachian State University, Elon University, Georgia State University, Radford University, William & Mary, Missouri State University, Jacksonville University, East Tennessee State University, Longwood University, Stetson University and Rollins College.
Last Tournament Recap
Two weeks ago, Towson finished seventh out of 15 teams at the Navy Fall Invitational. The Tigers had rounds of 325 and 296 to wrap up the tournament at 45-over.
Kanchana Kanchanaphiboon was the top performer for the Tigers, tying for 13
th after carding 81 and 70. Her second-round score was a collegiate career low for the junior.
Grace Oristian was the second-best performer for Towson, shooting 85 and 72. The sophomore also had a collegiate career low for her round two score.
Luciana Calbimonte was the third Tiger to shoot in the 70s for this tournament as she recorded a 74 on day two.
