EDISTO ISLAND, S.C. - The Towson University women's golf team wrapped up its fall season on Tuesday after completing the third and final round of the Edisto Island Invitational. The Tigers finished in 11th place after rounds of 335-315-326 for a total score of 976 (+124).
Charleston secured the tournament title on the team's home course, totaling 871 (+19) after three rounds of play. Elon finished second after accumulating a combined 880 (+28). East Carolina rounds out the podium in third, tallying 894 (+42).
Payton Balliet continued to lead the Tigers through the final round, finishing in 54th place after posting 80 (+9) in the third round.
Luciana Calbimonte (85, +14) and Victoriah Kuranga (81, +10) both finished tied for 59th place.
Grace Oristian tallied 85 (+14) in the third round, ending the tournament in 61st place. Kanchana Kanchanaphiboon rounds out Towson's lineup in 64th place after shooting 80 (+9) on Tuesday.
