TOWSON, Md. – Towson University women's basketball player Patricia Anumgba underwent successful shoulder surgery on Wednesday morning, effectively ending her 2024-25 season.
 
Anumgba, a 2023-24 All-Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) second team selection, led the Tigers with 14.4 points/game and 53 triples last season. She averaged a team-leading 34.4 minutes/game and added 1.4 steals/game, the most among returning Tigers.
 
The senior guard was one of four unanimous All-CAA first team selections in the 2024-25 preseason poll and was expected to be in a prominent role for the Tigers this season.
 
Anumgba is expected to return next season.
