TOWSON, Md. – College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the Academic All-District® Team for the 2024 volleyball season. Towson University players

Sydney Stewart were each honored with the recognition.
The 2024 CSC Academic All-District® Volleyball Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. Nomination criteria require honorees to have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 or greater. Athletically, student-athletes must compete in 90% or more of the institution's matches or start in at least 66% of them.
De Mango, a 2024 All-Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Second Team honoree, finished with the highest hitting percentage in the conference among qualified players at .411. She totaled 120 blocks over the season, good for third in the league. She ranked third on the team in points per set, averaging 2.37. A senior, De Mango majors in psychology.
Stewart received her second-straight CSC Academic All-District honor after starting all 30 matches at libero for the Tigers. Stewart finished tied for sixth among league leaders with 38 service aces during the season. Defensively, her 508 total digs and 4.58 digs per set each ranked third among league leaders. A junior, Stewart majors in health and physical education.
