TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University softball team announced its 2025 schedule on Monday. The schedule features four tournaments, including the annual TU DeMarini Invite, ten conference series and nine midweek games.
All home games will be played at the Tiger Softball Stadium. Attendance for all Towson home games are free to the public.
The Tigers finished the 2024 season with a 22-32, 10-17 CAA record and placed ninth in the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA). Heading into Head Coach

Cara Bohner (.305) and
Grace Franczyk (.287) as well as senior
Elizabeth Yoskowitz (.271). Top returners on the mound include sophomore
Amanda Medina who finished with a 3.25 ERA in 66.2 innings as a freshman, and fellow second year player
Faith McCullough who had a 3.32 ERA in 23 relief appearances.
Towson begins the season with the first of three straight trips to the Carolinas when it heads to Wofford for the Terrier Invite from Feb. 7-9. On the seventh, the Tigers take on Youngstown State and play host Wofford. Saturday sees Towson face Dayton after which the four teams will be seeded. The #2 and #3 seeds will play followed by the #1 and #4 seeds, then the winners and losers' games taking place on Sunday.
The next weekend Feb. 14-16, Towson is back in South Carolina taking part in the Battle at the Beach hosted by Coastal Carolina. The Black & Gold face Kent State on Friday, Notre Dame and Marist on Saturday, and play Notre Dame and the host Chanticleers on Sunday.
The Tigers then travel to Greensboro, North Carolina to play in the UNC Greensboro Invitational from Feb. 21-23. Towson faces Iona and Tennessee Tech on Friday, then play UNCG and George Washington on Saturday before wrapping up the weekend with another match up against Iona on Sunday.
Towson then plays its first home games of the season when it hosts the annual TU DeMarini Invite from Thursday Feb. 27-Sunday March 2. The home opener is against Coppin State on Thursday followed by games versus Colgate and Bryant on Friday. Towson then plays Bryant again on Saturday and Coppin again on Sunday.
Towson then plays another home game on March 4 against the University of Maryland Eastern Shore before going on the road the next day to face George Mason. The Tigers begin CAA play March 7-9 at home versus Stony Brook. The Black & Gold then begin a five-game road trip with a midweek game at UMBC on March 11, followed by a CAA match up at Hofstra (March 14-16) and ending with a trip to Mount St Mary's on March 19. The Tigers end March with two straight CAA series: Campbell at home (March 21-23) and a road trip to North Carolina A&T (March 28-30).
April begins with a six-game home stand starting with back-to-back midweek games against Delaware State on April 1 and Morgan State the next day. The Tigers then host Hampton on April 4-6 followed by a rematch versus George Washington on April 9. Towson's next four games are on the road as the Black & Gold head to the College of Charleston (April 11-13) and then visit Georgetown on April 15. The Tigers return home to face Monmouth (April 18-20) before playing their final midweek game at Villanova (April 22).
Towson plays its final home series against Drexel (April 25-27) then closes out the regular season at Delaware from May 1-3. The top six CAA teams at the end of the regular season will compete in the 2025 CAA Championship at Amanda LittleJohn Stadium in Buies Creek, North Carolina from May 7-10.
