WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Towson University gymnastics team was the runner up at George Washington's quint meet with New Hampshire, Kent State and William & Mary on Friday night.
The Tigers posted a 196.600 which is a season high and the highest road score in program history, narrowly falling to the Revolutionaries who logged a 196.625 for first place. New Hampshire rounded out the podium in third with a 195.675 while Kent State placed fourth with a 195.125. William & Mary posted a 193.450 for fifth.
The Black & Gold put up 49s on all four events for the first time this season with their highest score coming from vault. The Tigers earned a season high 49.275 on the event supported by six Tigers scoring 9.825 or better.

Isabella Minervini picked up gold medals on vault and bars respectively.

- Isabella Minervini posted a career high 9.975 for first place. Minervini's performance ties the second-best score in program history which was last achieved by a Towson gymnast in 2012. The sophomore received a perfect 10.0 from one judge.
- Lauren Green took second behind Minervini with a career high 9.875.
- Camille Vitoff posted a 9.850 while Clara Hong logged a 9.825.
