TOWSON, Md. – The Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) released its end-of-year honors on Tuesday afternoon. Kylie Kornegay-Lucas earned CAA Defensive Player of the Year for the second straight year while being named to the First Team All-CAA and CAA All-Defensive Team. Patricia Anumgba was named to the Second Team All-CAA.
 
Kornegay-Lucas was named to the All-CAA First Team for the second consecutive year. She ranks second on the Tigers in points per game, with 12.6. She has scored in double figures 19 times this season, including a season-high 25 points against Stony Brook. Kornegay-Lucas leads the Black & Gold with 3.4 assists, which ranks tenth in the conference.
 
The Camden, Delaware native is the first player in program history to win Defensive Player of the Year in back-to-back years. She leads the Tigers in steals (66) and blocks (33). Kornegay-Lucas currently ranks second in the CAA in steals per game with 2.4, including a season-high five three times. She leads the team and ranks second in the CAA in rebounds per game grabbing 8.1 a contest with a season-high 14 boards against Hofstra and Drexel.
 
Anumgba leads the Tigers in scoring, averaging 14.5 points per game, to rank ninth in the conference. The Silver Spring, Maryland native finished in double figures 23 times, which includes a career-high 28 points against Hampton. She sits second on the team in steals with 1.5, has 3.2 rebounds per game and 2.2 assists per game.
 
The Tigers will take on the winner of the UNCW/Northeastern matchup in the CAA Tournament presented by Primis on Thursday, March 14^th at 7:30 p.m. The game will be streamed on FloHoops.
